Know the Facts

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a written warranty on consumer equipment cannot be voided because an aftermarket part was used to repair or maintain that piece of equipment. A manufacturer cannot stop you from using aftermarket parts in the repair of its products or of any other manufacturer’s products.

Guaranteed Quality

In general, aftermarket parts meet and/or exceed OEM requirements. In fact, some aftermarket parts are sourced from the very same supplier that the OEM uses.
